H1 - Hand Held Condenser

The ‘H1’ Hand Held Condenser is based on the sE2a condenser capsule, re-voiced and tuned to accept an SPL of up to 145dB. The H1 has been designed to meet the needs of both the project studio user and the live/touring market.

The H1 has a specialised ‘internal shock mount’ which allows it to be hand-held during a live performance with very low handling noise, much like a traditional dynamic mic. However, it’s capsule is that of a true condenser, so live performances are much ‘clearer and richer’ than they would be with a dynamic mic.

It’s a true all-rounder with fantastic studio recordings and a live sound that will astound you.

Don't just take our word for it.

Audio Media “If a Shure SM 58 gets 8/10, a Beta 58 getting 8/10, then the H1 should get at least 8 maybe 8.5”

MTM “The H1 manages to preserve the intimacy and feel of acoustic playing without an amp, from busy chord progressions and percussive-style folk to delicate arpeggios. Woody, low-end acoustic depth is captured equally well and the H1 could very well spell the end of quiet, ear-straining acoustic recordings or the need to boost an acoustic guitar part in the mix. These are just some of the H1’s best assets – and they’re in addition to the complete absence of handling noise while recording vocals, even when you’re waving the mic around frantically.”
