sE Electronics Microphone and Reflexion Filter products 20 Year Limited Warranty - Terms and Conditions

All sE Electronics Microphones and Reflexion Filter Products are covered by a limited warranty for 2 (two) years from the date of purchase.

The terms and conditions of the sE Electronics limited warranty are:

limited lifetime warranty

  1. The warranty only applies to sE Electronics microphone and Reflexion Filter products purchased from authorised sE Electronics dealers. The authorised dealers of sE Electronics microphone and Reflexion Filter products in all territories are listed at www.seelectronics.com.
  2. The warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter products, and is limited to the cost of parts and labour required for the proper repair of sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter products. In its sole discretion, in circumstances where a proper repair of the sE Electronics product is not possible or feasible, sE Electronics may replace the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product with a new sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product of the same model and/or specification, or its nearest currently available equivalent.
  3. The warranty does not cover any of the following: damage caused by the user; spillages or moisture; neglect, abuse or misuse, including but not limited to the failure to use the sE Electronics product for its intended purpose in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions for usage, failure to properly maintain the sE Electronics product in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, and/or the failure to use the sE Electronics product in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications; normal wear and tear; use of product with incompatible or faulty equipment; unauthorised modifications; repairs conducted by unauthorised persons or service centres; the model and/or serial number being altered, removed or made illegible; accidents; or acts of God or any cause beyond the control of sE Electronics. Cosmetic defects, such as paint finish, and general wear and tear are not covered under warranty.
  4. The warranty is transferable during the term of the applicable warranty period of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product provided that the transfer of ownership of goods to the new party was legally done. Each and every claim made pursuant to this warranty by any person other than the original purchaser will incur a non-refundable USD $50.00 charge payable to sE Electronics upon making a warranty claim.
  5. The warranty does not affect any statutory rights that the original purchaser may have in accordance with the law applicable in the jurisdiction where the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product was purchased, or any rights that the original purchaser may have against the authorised sE Electronics dealer pursuant to their original purchase agreement. Such statutory rights may not apply to subsequent owners of the sE Electronics product.
  6. In order to claim pursuant to this warranty in the period of 2 (two) years from the date of purchase of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product, the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product must be delivered, together with the original proof of purchase, to the authorised sE Electronics service centre in the region in which the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product was originally purchased. You must keep your proof of purchase for any subsequent warranty extension, or transfer of ownership.
  7. In order to claim pursuant to this warranty during the extended warranty period, the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product must be delivered to the authorised sE Electronics service centre in the region in which the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product was originally purchased.
  8. Once the sE Electronics product has been received, the authorised sE Electronics service centre will then arrange the repair (or replacement where applicable pursuant to paragraph 2 above) in accordance with the warranty repair procedure prescribed by sE Electronics for their authorised service centre network. The warranty repair will be conducted by the authorised sE Electronics service centre as promptly as possible and within a reasonable time from the date of submission for the warranty repair.
  9. In circumstances where a warranty repair is being claimed from an authorised sE Electronics service centre outside the region in which the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product was originally purchased, then only the cost of parts required for the proper repair of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product will be covered by this warranty, while the cost of labour for the repair of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product will be charged to the original purchaser by that authorised sE Electronics service centre. That authorised sE Electronics service centre may waive the cost of labour in that service centre’s sole discretion.
  10. The list of authorised sE Electronics service centres in each region is available at www.seelectronics.com
  11. In all circumstances, a claimant under this warranty will be liable for all costs in delivering the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product to the authorised sE Electronics service centre for warranty repair and for all costs in collecting the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product from that authorised sE Electronics service centre after warranty repair. That authorised sE Electronics service centre may waive the cost of return shipping to a nominated address after the warranty repair in that service centre’s sole discretion.
  12. sE Electronics will not accept any warranty repair without the original proof or purchase of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product, or without the registration of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product during the extended warranty period. It is the original purchaser’s responsibility to keep the original proof or purchase safe at all times, as sE Electronics is not obliged to provide a replacement of the original proof or purchase, and to transfer that proof of purchase to any subsequent owners of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product.
  13. Any repair or replacement of an sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product pursuant to this warranty does not extend the warranty, and the original term of the warranty will remain.
  14. sE Electronics shall not be liable for damages in excess of the purchase price of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product arising out of the use or inability to use the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product insofar as allowed to be disclaimed by law in the jurisdiction where the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product was purchased.

sE Electronics product 3 Year ‘Zero Downtime’ Free Replacement Limited Warranty - Terms and Conditions

All sE Electronics microphone and Reflexion Filter products are covered by a limited warranty for 2 (two) years from the date of purchase.

In addition to the 20 year limited warranty offered on all sE Electronics microphone and sE Electronics Reflexion Filter products we also offer a 3 year ‘Zero Downtime’ Free Replacement limited warranty.

‘Zero Downtime’ is a phrase used to describe a service associated with this warranty, and is not meant to imply that there is literally no time lapse between a product failing under warranty and it being replaced. Rather, that upon application by the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product owner for a replacement mic under the terms and conditions of this warranty, that we will, provided this application is accepted, replace the item immediately upon receipt of the faulty/broken sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product.

The terms and conditions of this sE Electronics limited warranty are:

  1. The warranty only applies to sE Electronics microphone and Reflexion Filter products purchased from authorised sE Electronics dealers. The authorised dealers of sE Electronics microphone and Reflexion Filter products in all regions are listed at www.seelectronics.com
  2. The warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship of the sE Electronics microphone and Reflexion Filter product, and is limited to the replacement of the sE Electronics microphone and Reflexion Filter product. In its sole discretion, sE Electronics may (a) replace the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product with a new sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product of the same model, or (b) replace the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product with a new sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product of the similar specification, in circumstances where the same sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product is no longer available.
  3. The warranty does not cover any of the following: damage caused by the user; spillages or moisture; neglect, abuse or misuse, including but not limited to the failure to use the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product for its normal purpose in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions for usage, failure to properly maintain the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, and/or the failure to use the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications; normal wear and tear; use of microphone with incompatible or faulty equipment; unauthorised modifications; repairs conducted by unauthorised persons or service centres; the model and/or serial number being altered, removed or made illegible; accidents; or acts of God or any cause beyond the control of sE Electronics. Cosmetic defects, such as paint finish, and general wear and tear are not covered under warranty.
  4. The warranty is transferable during the term of the applicable warranty period of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product.
  5. The warranty does not affect any statutory rights that the original purchaser may have in accordance with the law applicable in the jurisdiction where the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product was purchased, or any rights that the original purchaser may have against the authorised sE Electronics dealer pursuant to their original purchase agreement. Such statutory rights may not apply to subsequent owners of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product.
  6. In order to claim pursuant to this warranty in the period of 2 (two) years from the date of purchase of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product, the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product must be returned, together with the original proof of purchase, to the authorised sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter service centre in the territory in which the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product was originally purchased.
  7. In order to claim pursuant to this warranty during the extended warranty period, the claimant must (a) contact sE Electronics at warranty@seelectronics.com, or their local territory authorised service agent (distributor) and supply details of the product fault, serial number and proof of purchase (which may be scanned and emailed, (or posted to 3 Hunting Gate, Hitchin, Herts, SG4 0TJ, UK). Upon receipt of the required information the claimant will receive an RA claim number; and (b) thereafter deliver the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product to the authorised sE Electronics service centre in the region in which the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product was originally purchased, together with the RA number.
  8. Once the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product has been received, the authorised sE Electronics service centre will assess the warranty claim and then arrange replacement in accordance with the warranty procedure prescribed by sE Electronics for their authorised service centre network. The warranty replacement will be conducted by the authorised sE Electronics service centre as promptly as possible and within a reasonable time from the date of submission of the warranty claim.

  10. In all circumstances, a claimant under this warranty will be liable for all costs in delivering their sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product to the authorised sE Electronic service centre for warranty replacement and for all costs in collecting the replacement sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product from that authorised sE Electronics service centre. That authorised sE Electronics service centre may waive the cost of return shipping to a nominated address after the warranty replacement in that service centre’s sole discretion.
  11. sE Electronics will not accept any warranty replacement without the original proof or purchase of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product, and without the registration of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product during the extended warranty period. It is the original purchaser’s responsibility to keep the original proof or purchase safe at all times, as sE Electronics is not obliged to provide a replacement of the original proof or purchase, and to transfer that proof of purchase to any subsequent owners of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product.
  12. Any replacement of a sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product pursuant to this warranty will terminate this warranty, and a new warranty will apply to the replacement sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product.
  13. sE Electronics shall not be liable for damages in excess of the purchase price of the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product arising out of the use or inability to use the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product insofar as allowed to be disclaimed by law in the jurisdiction where the sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product was purchased.

This warranty can be extended to 3 (three) years from the date of purchase. To be eligible for the extension of the warranty, the original purchaser must register the purchase of their sE Electronics microphone or Reflexion Filter product online at www.seelectronics.com. The terms and conditions of the original warranty will then apply for the term of the extended warranty period.
