sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve product 3 Year ‘Zero Downtime’ Free Replacement Limited Warranty - Terms and Conditions

For all sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve products we offer a 3-year ‘Zero Downtime’ Free Replacement limited warranty. 'Zero Downtime' is a phrase used to describe a service associated with this warranty, and is not meant to imply that there is literally no time lapse between a product failing under warranty and it being replaced. Rather, that upon application by the sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve product owner for a replacement mic under the terms and conditions of this warranty, that we will, provided this application is accepted, replace the item immediately upon receipt of the faulty/broken sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve product.

The terms and conditions of this sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve limited warranty are:

  1. The warranty only applies to sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve products purchased from authorised sE Electronics dealers. The authorised dealers of sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve products in all regions are listed on our dealer page.
  2. The warranty covers any defects in materials and workmanship of the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product, and is limited to the replacement of the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product. In its sole discretion, sE Electronics may (a) replace the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product with a new sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product of the same model, or (b) replace the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product with a new sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product of the similar specification, in circumstances where the same sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product is no longer available.
  3. The warranty does not cover any of the following: damage caused by the user; spillages or moisture; neglect, abuse or misuse, including but not limited to the failure to use the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product for its normal purpose in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions for usage, failure to properly maintain the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, and/or the failure to use the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications; normal wear and tear; use of microphone/product with incompatible or faulty equipment; unauthorised modifications; repairs conducted by unauthorised persons or service centres; the model and/or serial number being altered, removed or made illegible; accidents; or acts of God or any cause beyond the control of sE Electronics. Cosmetic defects, such as paint finish, and general wear and tear are not covered under warranty.
  4. The warranty is transferable during the term of the applicable warranty period of the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product.
  5. The warranty does not affect any statutory rights that the original purchaser may have in accordance with the law applicable in the jurisdiction where the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product was purchased, or any rights that the original purchaser may have against the authorised sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve dealer pursuant to their original purchase agreement. Such statutory rights may not apply to subsequent owners of the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product.
  6. In order to claim pursuant to this warranty in the period of 2 (two) years from the date of purchase of the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product, the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product must be returned, together with the original proof of purchase, to the authorised sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve service centre in the territory in which the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product was originally purchased.
  7. In order to claim pursuant to this warranty during the extended warranty period, the claimant must (a) contact sE Electronics at support@seelectronics.com or their local territory authorised service agent (distributor) and supply details of the product fault, serial number and proof of purchase (which may be scanned and emailed, (or posted to 3 Hunting Gate, Hitchin, Herts, SG4 0TJ, UK). Upon receipt of the required information the claimant will receive an RA claim number; and (b) thereafter deliver the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product to the authorised sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve service centre in the region in which the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product was originally purchased, together with the RA number.
  8. Once the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product has been received, the authorised sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve service centre will assess the warranty claim and then arrange replacement in accordance with the warranty procedure prescribed by sE Electronics for their authorised service centre network. The warranty replacement will be conducted by the authorised sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve service centre as promptly as possible and within a reasonable time from the date of submission of the warranty claim.
  9. The list of authorised sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve service centres in each region is available on our dealers page.
  10. In all circumstances, a claimant under this warranty will be liable for all costs in delivering their sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product to the authorised sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve service centre for warranty replacement and for all costs in collecting the replacement sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product from that authorised sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve service centre. That authorised sE Electronics, sE Munro and sE Rupert Neve service centre may waive the cost of return shipping to a nominated address after the warranty replacement in that service centre's sole discretion.
  11. sE Electronics will not accept any warranty replacement without the original proof of purchase of the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product, and without the registration of the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product during the extended warranty period. It is the original purchaser's responsibility to keep the original proof or purchase safe at all times, as sE Electronics is not obliged to provide a replacement of the original proof or purchase, and to transfer that proof of purchase to any subsequent owners of the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product.
  12. Any replacement of an sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product pursuant to this warranty will terminate this warranty, and a new warranty will apply to the replacement sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product.
  13. sE Electronics shall not be liable for damages in excess of the purchase price of the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product arising out of the use or inability to use the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product insofar as allowed to be disclaimed by law in the jurisdiction where the sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product was purchased.

This warranty can be extended to 3 (three) years from the date of purchase. To be eligible for the extension of the warranty, the original purchaser must register the purchase of their sE Electronics, sE Munro and/or sE Rupert Neve product online here. The terms and conditions of the original warranty will then apply for the term of the extended warranty period.
